Nuevo Puerto and Puerto Nuevo

It operates three thermal power plants totaling 1,747 MW of installed capacity, representing 4% of the SADI generation park and 7% of the country’s thermal generation share.

Nuevo Puerto and Puerto Nuevo are steam turbine (TV) type power plants, with a total of five units and an installed capacity of 360 MW and 589 MW respectively.

The Combined Cycle (CC) power plant has an installed capacity of 798 MW.

Nuevo Puerto Area + CC: 8.81 hectares.

Puerto Nuevo Area: 14.8 hectares.

It operates a highly diversified plant consisting of four conventional cycle monoblock units operated by steam, with an installed capacity of 661 MW of power and two cycle units

Combined, the first with 277 MW of power and the second with 851 MW of power configured by two gas turbogenerators and one steam turbogenerator.

In this way, Central Costanera totals 1,789 MW of installed capacity, which represents 4% of the total power of the SADI and 5% of the country's thermal generation share.

The plant has an installed capacity of 575 MW and comprises 10 generation units of different technologies:

A Combined Cycle (Siemens-Skoda DC), made up of a 195.97 MW Siemens gas turbine and a 92.5 MW Skoda steam turbine, totaling 288.47 MW.

It has 3 ABB gas turbines, one with an installed gross capacity of 27 MW and the other two with 22.8 MW each.

Two Marelli steam turbines, each with 60 MW, totaling 120 MW.

A small hydroelectric plant with an Ossberger turbine and generator rated at 1 MW.

A Siemens cogeneration unit with 93 MW and 125 tons per hour of steam.

Combined cycle conventional power cogeneration plant, based on a system of alternating gas and/or gas oil, with an installed capacity of 365 MW in two modules.

Gas Turbine (TG) brand Siemens model SGT5-4000 F, 270 MW net.

Siemens SST600 steam turbine, with a net capacity of 95 MW.

Steam export to T6 Industrial S.A. for their production process, up to 370 tons per hour of steam, at two pressure levels.

Entered the Wholesale Electricity Market (MEM) in Simple Cycle mode (only GT) in November 2020, and the Combined Cycle Cogeneration (GT+ST+Steam Export) in October 2021.

The plant, equipped with a dual-fuel Siemens SGT5-4000 F gas turbine with a nominal total power of 292 MW, will benefit from the combined cycle upgrade, adding an additional 140 MW. This will result in a total capacity of 432 MW, enabling it to supply power to over 300,000 households nationwide, injecting power into the interconnected system through a 132 kV connection.

It has four Francis turbines and their associated generators with an installed power of 1,440 MW (4×360 MW).

The CPSA hydroelectric complex includes a gravity concrete dam with a maximum height of 170 meters above its foundation, intake structures and aqueducts, a spillway with a capacity to discharge 10,000 m³/s, river diversion works, a bottom outlet, and construction facilities including access roads, a bridge, and power supply installations.

Central de cogeneración de energía eléctrica convencional en ciclo combinado, en base a un sistema de gas y/o gas oíl en forma alternada, con una potencia de 365 MW instalada en dos módulos.

Turbina de Gas (TG) marca Siemens modelo SGT5-4000 F, de 270 MW netos.

Turbina de Vapor (TV) marca Siemens Modelo SST600, de 95 MW netos.

Exportación de vapor hacia la firma T6 Industrial S.A. para su proceso productivo, de hasta 370 t/h de vapor, en dos niveles de presión.

Ingreso al MEM (Mercado Eléctrico Mayorista) en modalidad Ciclo Simple (solo TG) en noviembre de 2020 y el ciclo combinado de cogeneración (TG+TV+Exportación de Vapor) en octubre 2021.

La planta posee una potencia instalada de 575 MW y cuenta con 10 unidades de generación de distintas tecnologías:

Un Ciclo Combinado (CC Siemens-Skoda), conformado por una turbina de gas marca Siemens de 195,97 MW y una turbina de vapor marca Skoda de 92,5 MW totalizando 288,47 MW.

Cuenta con 3 turbinas de gas marca ABB de las cuales una tiene una potencia instalada de 27 MW brutos y las dos restantes de 22.8 MW.

Dos turbinas de vapor marca Marelli, de 60 MW cada una totalizando 120 Mw.

Una mini central hidráulica con turbina y generador marca Ossberger de 1 MW.

Un grupo de cogeneración marca Siemens de 93 MW y 125 tn/h de vapor.

Mining

We support the growth of mining in Argentina through strategic investments that strengthen our vision of sustainable development:

• We are the main shareholder of the Diablillos gold and silver project in Salta, with a 9.9% stake in AbraSilver Resource Corp.

• In Catamarca, we acquired 27.5% of the “Tres Cruces” lithium project, strengthening our role in the electric mobility value chain.

• Together with IFC, we worked to develop the first 140 km electric transmission line to supply renewable energy to mining companies in the northwest of Argentina, with a potential capacity of up to 400 MW.
