Central Puerto included in the BYMA 2019 Sustainability Index

Buenos Aires, December 17 – Central Puerto SA (“Central Puerto”) (BYMA: CEPU; NYSE: CEPU), one of the largest private sector power generation companies of Argentina, was included in the 2019 Sustainability Index, developed by BYMA (Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos, argentina’s largest Stock Exchange), together with the IDB (Inter-American Development Bank) and with the academic endorsement of the Earth Institute of Columbia University.
The Index is non-commercial and evaluates the performance of the most liquid stocks listed in BYMA (members of the Merval index of recent years), in the four ESG-D pillars, based on the information reported and available to the general public. The methodology is based on the IndexAmericas and the data collection is carried out by Refinitiv.
The index allows identifying and highlighting the leading companies in Environmental, Social, Sustainable Development and Corporate Governance (ESG-D).
